The leading UK waterproofing supplier’s new-look Technical hierarchy will help the company plan for the future.
Newton Waterproofing is pleased to announce the appointment of Senior Technical Manager Richard Crossley to the post of Technical Director. Richard’s new role will see him take on the outward facing responsibilities of the Technical Director, including the development of new business, and heading up the ever-growing Newton Technical Team. Current Technical Director David Bucknell will remain with the company in the important new post of Director, actively employing his wealth of knowledge on waterproofing systems, built up over 20 years in the industry, in order to drive Newton’s product developments forward with modern technological innovations.
Quality and Excellence
Coming off the back of their highly technical and objective approach to the provision of complete waterproofing solutions, Newton Waterproofing has firmly secured its reputation for quality and excellence within the waterproofing industry. As an accompaniment to this success the company has also been experiencing strong year on year growth, and the associated rapid expansion in the numbers of both personnel and products. Newton’s new appointments in both the Director and Technical Director positions are therefore a direct reflection of their ongoing aims, as the company looks to build on its current accomplishments, with one eye on the future success of the business.
“Rich has 15 years of fantastic and varied experience in the waterproofing industry, 2 of which have been with Newton Waterproofing, so he’s got a phenomenal amount of industry expertise under his belt. As well as that he’s a guy who’s still passionate about the industry, about providing our customers with high quality products and solutions, and about doing the best possible job for Newton. We’ve got no doubts whatsoever that he will make an excellent Technical Director” – Warren Muschialli, Managing Director
Waterproofing Design Specialist
Supporting his industry experience, Mr. Crossley has also used his cumulative knowledge to gain two of the highest waterproofing accreditations available from the Property Care Association. In order to obtain the qualifications of both a ‘Certificated Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing’, and the even more advanced ‘Waterproofing Design Specialist’, the requirements called for the demonstration of a thorough knowledge of all aspects of BS 8102:2009, building construction and waterproofing techniques, diagnostic investigation and problem solving, report writing, diagram drawing and details, specification details, and the products and techniques commonly used in waterproofing.
