The latest edition of Concrete Magazine featured an article written by David Bucknell, Technical Director at Newton Waterproofing Systems “Waterproofing Codes of Practice and Combined Systems”.
The article outlines the recommendations of BS8102:2009 Code of Practice for the Protection of Below Ground Structures against Water from the Ground. It provides recommendations and guidance on methods of dealing with, and preventing the entry of, water from surrounding ground into a structure below ground level, covering topics such as watertight construction and waterproofing barrier materials applied to the structure.
“We thank James Luckey, editor of the Concrete Magazine very much for featuring our contribution about the implications of the BS8102 and hope the readers of Concrete find it useful and informative” – Lucinda Muschialli, Marketing Director
