Our Quality Assurance mobile and tablet app provides both contractors and Newton Technical Staff with the ability to observe, document and report the status and condition of on-site installations.

When working on a project,  it is vital that all parties are aware of any site problems, specification amendments or challenges in detail or sequencing.

With that in mind, Newton Technical Site staff offer tailored quality assurance through their real time site reporting app. This unique tool gives all members of the Design Team a digital report which is generated at the end of each site visit.

    Features and Benefits

    • Confirmation of the site address and GPS location
    • Confirmation of the names and number of attendees on site
    • Synchronisation with external weather apps to provide an accurate record of site conditions
    • The ability to take pictures and video images within the app, or add them from the device’s internal library. This can be either to identify any issues or points of concern on the installation or preparation, or to simply make a record of the installation
    • Signature capability allows our Newton representative and/or the Newton Specialist Basement Contractor (NSBC), Main Contractor and Groundworker to physically sign off the report on site in order to confirm the observations and recommendations discussed

    Once submitted, the report is non-editable so is safe from tampering and editing after the visit is made

    The regularity of Newton site support staff visiting site should be confirmed by all relevant parties prior to the commencement of the contract.

    Newton will obtain all relevant contact details of persons that are to receive site app reports as they are produced. Newton will also keep full internal records of all site visits that are carried out via the site app, which will allow us to provide the relevant parties at all times with live and up-to-date data reports and recommendations.

      We will be closing between Christmas and New Year, with the last day of operations being Friday 20th December. Last orders for delivery before Christmas therefore need to be placed by 2pm on Thursday 19th December, with final deliveries on Friday 20th December. After this, no deliveries will be possible until January 2025. The Newton branches in Tonbridge and Leeds will reopen in the New Year on Thursday 2nd January 2025.
