Following on from 2018’s impressive award wins, Newton Waterproofing are proud to have been shortlisted for ‘Business of the Year 2019’ by the Kent Invicta Chamber Awards and ‘Best Innovation’ by the Construction News Awards.
Our winning awards from 2018 included:

What are the Construction News Awards?
For 23 years, the Construction News Awards have been showcasing the very best in the industry, becoming the most coveted and prestigious awards in our sector and for those who win, the award is a well-recognised badge of excellence amongst peers and clients.
This year, Newton Waterproofing have been shortlisted in the ‘Best Innovation’ category for the Newton Membrane Recycling Service. The service was launched in 2017 as the first of its kind in the UK waterproofing industry. Working in partnership with our Newton Specialist Basement Contractor (NSBC) network, the service collects waste membrane and processes it, before it is recycled by a third-party and manufactured into new construction products, achieving a ‘closed-loop’ recycling process.
For the next stage of the process, we will be presenting our entry to a panel of judges, before finding out who takes the crown at the awards night on 11th July.
What are the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce Awards?
March 2019 sees the Kent Invicta Chamber Awards celebrate their 13th Anniversary of recognising and rewarding business excellence in Kent and Medway. Entries are submitted from a wide variety of sectors and the finalists have all proved with their entries that they are truly excellent at what they do.
Newton Waterproofing are nominated for ‘Business of the Year 2019’. To be considered for this award, Newton needed to demonstrate outstanding performance over the last 2 years, including commercial success, clear plans for growth and commitment to local communities, the environment and staff with a proven track record of innovation and strong leadership. Winners will be announced at the Kent Invicta Chamber Awards on Thursday 21st March.
