At Newton’s we are proud of our leading technical services, having maintained our Professional indemnity insurance for waterproofing design for over 20 years. We have been supporting specifiers with designs since the 1930s. We are delighted now to formally offer a bespoke waterproofing design service, backed by our insurers and our Professional Indemnity policy.
The British Standard for Waterproofing
The British Standard for Waterproofing, BS 8102:2009, recommends that a waterproofing specialist is included as an integral member of the design team. By employing Newton’s team of industry-qualified experts, you will benefit from the knowledge and expertise of one of the most experienced companies in the UK waterproofing industry.
Qualifying projects can also benefit from the Newton Latent Defects Guarantee. The guarantee is the first meaningful, insurance policy from a UK waterproofing supplier that is backed by an A-rated, UK-based insurer, and provides up to 12 years of cover for all structural waterproofing defects arising from the workmanship, design, and/or materials. All policies are assessed on a case-by-case basis by Newton’s insurer at the design stage.
