Make-A-Wish UK aim to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Whether it’s a family holiday to Devon or a trip to meet Santa and his reindeer, Make-A-Wish UK will go above and beyond to grant very magical wishes to very special children. Making a critically ill child’s wish a reality at a time they need it the most can have the most incredible effects, from building confidence and bringing happiness, to providing respite from the daily struggles that come with a critical illness. Because a child’s life shouldn’t be all about illness, hospitals and diagnosis – it should be about joy, hope and wonder.
All the work that Make-A-Wish UK do would not be possible without the support of #WishHeroes like James, who take on sporting and fundraising events to raise funds for a child’s One True Wish. With the help of incredible volunteers, Make-A-Wish UK have been able to grant more than 12,000 life-changing wishes since the charity was formed in 1986.
Everyone at Newton would like to say a very big WELL DONE to James for his efforts in the Brighton Marathon!
