Injection resins are suitable for application in basements, underground parking, tunnel projects, wall/floor transitions, concrete slabs, bridges, construction sites and lift pits.
Mechanical, chemical and climatic loads can create stresses in concrete, as the tensile load that concrete can withstand is only between 2-10% of its compressive strength. There are many ways in which cracks in concrete can be caused, such as incorrect design calculations, unforeseen loads, incorrect steel placement, shrinkage and excess heat generation.
Newton’s new range of injection resins offer a remedial repair solution, as they can be utilised to close cracks and voids to prevent any substance penetration, to seal from any leaks, to flexibly seal across crack flanks and to reinstate structural integrity between the sides of cracks and void.
Five different injection resins have been added to the Newton product portfolio as part of the Newton ReSeal System alongside injection hoses, packers and cleaners, which are required for both injecting and cleaning up after resin injection projects.
Newton’s concrete repair resin range is available now for projects with the necessary requirements and has been specified on several projects already. Newton Specialist Contractor ASF Waterproofing, have utilised Newton 320-FP and 322-SP at a new-build development on Blackfriars Road in Southwark and Newton 324-SR at a new-build shopping centre in Shepherd’s Bush, West London.
