The HydroCoat 1 System is a complete, one-coat waterproofing system comprising of pre-bagged render and screed that provides a fully waterproof coating, defined as Type A by BS 8102:2022. Suitable for new and existing structures, the Newton HydroCoat 1 system is designed to stop water ingress to basement structures and to prevent leaks from water retaining structures.

The system comprises of HydroCoat 1 Render and HydroCoat 1 Screed 2K. HydroCoat 1 Render is a pre-bagged material for vertical and overhead application, which only requires the addition of clean water to give you an easily trowellable mortar in one coat at a range of thicknesses.

HydroCoat 1 Screed 2K is a rapid-setting, two-part epoxy and polymer modified cementitious screed for levelling and waterproofing concrete substrates. It exhibits a degree of flow to enable ease of application by pouring or pumping techniques to give an even finish with a slightly dimpled texture.
