Newton Waterproofing, the UK’s leading independent designers and suppliers of guaranteed waterproofing systems has expanded its Recycling Service to include product packaging from its injection resin products, reinforcing the company’s long-standing dedication to sustainability.
Having partnered with Belgian injection resin specialists TRADECC, Newton Waterproofing’s customers now have access to the entire TRADECC range of high-quality specialist products for water sealing, soil consolidation, structural repair, and concrete repair.
Furthermore, the plastic and metal packaging from these products has been added to the company’s multi-award-winning Recycling Service, enhancing Newton Waterproofing’s commitment to sustainable construction.
Established in 2017, the unique and free recycling scheme works in collaboration with Newton’s nationwide network of Specialist Contractors, who store waste packaging and plastic product off-cuts which are then collected by Newton on arrival at the site to deliver more products.
The material for recycling is sorted and processed at Newton Waterproofing’s headquarters in Tonbridge, before being collected by a national re-processor who recycles the material ready to be made into new products for the construction industry.
In addition to their range of HDPE membranes, Newton Waterproofing sells thousands of products in recyclable plastic tubs and metal containers each year – an impressive collection that now includes the packaging from the TRADECC injection resins.
