Designing a waterproofing solution for a Grade 3 habitable space in accordance with the British Standard 8102:2022 requires the combination of two or more types of waterproofing. This one-day course offers an in-depth look at the first two types of waterproofing system; Type A and Type B.
Waterproofing tutors
Our expert tutors will provide an overview of the following:
- Traditional and modern Type A and B systems.
- Waterproofing design, structure, surface and site preparation.
- Waterproofing installation.
Before offering participants the chance to get hands-on with some of Newton’s Type A and Type B products, learning about the various elements that form each system.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of attendance.

Please be aware that the course will only go ahead if we have more than 8 people registered to attend, in the event we do not fulfil this requirement, you will be offered a selection of other dates. Our maximum number of attendees is 20, although in special circumstances we can accommodate larger groups.
